I'm So Sorry!

Oh my goodness, you guys! I am so sorry I haven't been updating! I have a lot to tell you to make up for it though, so I'll get started.


Okay, I finished the 8th grade last month, so I'm enjoying my summer break. I haven't been doing a lot of stuff within that period of time, so I  don't know what made me not keep up with this blog! I've been hanging out and whatnot! Anyways, I have been taking care of my hair a lot, which is good. I mean, I don't want my hair to be dry like straw, so I've been using coconut oil and any conditioner I can get my hands on. Speaking of hair, I created a YouTube channel! Yes, I am so happy that I did because I am in l♥ve with hair and things of that nature.( If you have the time, go ahead and check it out!)


If you decide not to check out my channel, I have some news for you! I did the big chop! I am l♥ving the short curls and the shrinkage and... ah, man... I just adore it. I did the BC on June 9th of 2011. My mother held off the cutting process for the longest, but after I came home from a party, she decided to do it. It was an easy process, and I will have a post about how to do your big chop!

Kudos to 8th Grade Prom

   Oh gosh! I am so excited for my last year at my school! It's pretty amazing! Back when I was in 6th and 7th grade, I didn't want to be involved in the school activities because I was new to the middle school experience. (Besides, the school I  go to isn't so great like a pocket of sunshine) So, this year, I decided to explore myself and the inner workings of the school. Surprisingly, it's... not that bad. 

   I went to the Homecoming Dance for the first time, which was the greatest time ever. I swear, my smile was ear-to-ear! I also decided to go to a twist on a classic talent show: a Teacher No-Talent Show! It was pretty sweet too and insanely hilarious! 

   So, to tie off my last year, I paid (Well, actually my parents paid) the dues for 8th Grade Week, which includes a Movie Night, Summer BBQ ( bring on the Tofurky!), and, of course, the 8th Grade Dance/Prom. You don't know how much it means to me to go to this prom. I know, it sounds so fast to have a prom already, but I love fast-forwarding things! I throb for the most elegant hairstyle, the most eye-catching pair of wedges, and the most head-turning dress! So, to conclude this post, what is your perfect prom night?

First Blog Post

   I've never been able to keep up with a blog. I don't know why! It's, like, I enjoy having the control of Oh my gosh, what's the color scheme? or What is this blog going to be about!?  and sometimes... What if I get to be on Oprah! Once these questions are zooming through my head, I'm done with the blog and never go back to it. I have good intentions of creating the perfect blog, but it gets hard to stay committed!

   Hopefully, if I get enough followers, I will stay up with this blog. Nappy, Crafty, Vegetarian is about my hobbies (such as finger-knitting or writing), my tips on keeping up with hair (no matter if you are black, white, Asian, African-American, or whatever), and staying in the latest style! I'll keep in touch!
